Dear parishioners and friends,
As we celebrate the third Sunday of Easter, we continue to give thanks to God for the four adults who celebrated sacraments on Holy Saturday, reminding us of our own baptismal commitment and the graces we receive through the sacraments every day of our lives. As a parish, we also rejoice with 19 young people that will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation Wednesday, 8 May at 7:00 PM. Bishop Malesic will preside at the celebration. Candidates from St. John Nepomucene, Immaculate Heart of Mary (Lansing Rd.), Holy Spirit, St. Agnes – Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Peace Parishes will join us. A total of 38 young people will be confirmed. Please keep them in your prayers and plan to attend this special liturgy.
We also have many children that will celebrate First Communion on the last two Sundays in May. Please keep them and their families in your prayers as they prepare for that special day.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Durante el tiempo pascual, renovamos nuestras promesas bautismales. Los bautismos de adultos durante la Vigilia Pascual el Sábado Santo nos animan a apreciar nuestro propio bautismo y la gracia recibida a través del mismo. Como parroquia, felicitamos a 19 jóvenes quienes van a celebrar el sacramento de la Confirmación el miércoles 8 de mayo. El señor obispo, Mons. Malesic va a presidir la Santa Misa a las 7:00 PM. Todos están invitados a la Misa. Habrá candidatos de cuatro otras parroquias, haciendo un total de 38 jóvenes. Llevémoslos en nuestras oraciones.
También, un buen grupo de niños va a recibir la primera comunión los dos últimos domingos de mayo. Recemos por ellos y sus familias mientras se preparen para este día tan especial.

REQUISITOS PARA BAUTIZAR
- Llenar la hoja de datos
- Traer copia del acta de nacimiento
- Traer copia del permiso del parroco si son de otra parroquia
- Participar en la platica pre-bautismal
- Seleccionar padrinos que son activos en la iglesia y comulgan con frecuencia porque pueden comulgar y entonces dan ejemplo para su ahijado
- Hablar con el Padre Jose para fijar la fecha del bautismo
