MASS / MISA LABOUR DAY MONDAY, 7 SEPT. 9:00 AM DIA DEL TRABAJADOR
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has been awarded a $175,000 grant from the National Fund for Historic Places. It is a matching grant. This means we have the challenge of raising $175,000 for this urgent project that will fund masonry repair and restoration of the church building. Dear parishioners and friends,
Please join me in welcoming Cristina Rodríguez, our new Office Manager. She comes to us with a wealth of experience working and volunteering at parishes. She is bilingual and has high computer skills and experience. She, her husband, and two sons are active at Saints Cosmas & Damian in Twinsburg. Cristina will be in the parish office Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM—2:00 PM. !Bienvenida, Cristina!
Raffle tickets are now available for the money raffle that will take place at the International Festival Saturday, 17 October. Donation is $1.00/ticket, prizes: $500.00, $200.00, and 3 prizes of $100.00. They are available after Mass and in the parish office.

WE NEED MORE CATECHISTS: We invite you to be part of our parish catechetical team! We need catechists, catechesis assistants, and youth volunteers to be members of our team. More information with Sister Charlotte after Mass or at the parish office.
PSR/CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION: Register your children and youth for the Parish School of Religion (PSR), First Communion, First Communion, continuing classes after First Communion and Confirmation classes after the Sunday Masses at the table near the statue of St. Procop. PSR classes begin with a parent meeting at 10:00 a.m. in church on Saturday, September 12. The children’s classes begin on Saturday, September 26 from 10:00–11:30 a.m. in the parish house.
SHARE YOUR FAITH! Invite your family members or friends who were not able to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and/or Confirmation to register for the OCIA or Adult Sacramental Preparation. Classes will be held on Sundays beginning in October. Stop by the table by the St. Procop statue to complete a registration form after the Sunday Masses or in the parish office.

Los boletos para la rifa de dinero ya están disponibles para la rifa que se llevará a cabo en el Festival Internacional el sábado 17 de octubre. La donación es de $1.00 por boleto, premios: $500.00, $200.00 y 3 premios de $100.00. Están disponibles después de la Misa y en la oficina parroquial.
La celebración FE Y CULTURA es el 19 de Septiembre, en Akron. El invitado es Monseñor Evelio Menjivar-Ayala. Tema: LA ESPIRITUALIDAD DEL IMMIGRANTE. Mons. Es la persona mas indicada para compartir su experiencia llegando aquí de El Salvador sin documentos, trabajando, estudiando, y luego entrando en el seminario. NECESITAMOS MAS CATEQUISTAS: ¡Te invitamos a ser parte de nuestro equipo catequético parroquial! Necesitamos catequistas, asistentes de catequesis y voluntarios juveniles para ser miembros de nuestro equipo. Mas información con Sister Charlotte despues de la Misa o en la oficina parroquial.
CLASES DE DOCTRINA Y CONFIRMACIÓN: Inscriban a los niños y a los jóvenes para las Clases de Doctrina, Primera Comunión, Clases de Seguimiento después de Primera Comunión, y Confirmación después de las misas dominicales. Inscripciones en la mesa cerca de la estatua de San Procopio. Las clases de Doctrina comienzan con una reunión de padres a las 10:00 a.m. en el templo el sábado, 12 de septiembre. Las clases con los niños van a comenzar el sábado, 26 de septiembre de 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
¡COMPARTAN SU FE! Inviten a sus parientes o amigos(as) quienes no han recibido los Sacramentos del Bautismo, Primera Comunión y/o Confirmación como niños para registrarse para el OICA o Preparación Sacramental de Adultos. Las clases van a ser los domingos comenzando en octubre. Visitan la mesa ubicada por la estatua de San Procopio para completar una hoja de inscripción después de las misas dominicales o en la oficina parroquial.
