Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has been awarded a $175,000 grant from the National Fund for Historic Places. It is a matching grant. This means we have the challenge of raising $175,000 for this urgent project that will fund masonry repair and restoration of the church building. Dear Parishioners and friends,
The parish picnic is a few weeks away. Saturday, August 8th, at the pavilion on the grounds of St. Monica Parish in Garfield Heights. As in the past, the parish will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, and chicken. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Additionally, you can help with donations of paper products, water, and soda. Thanks in advance!
The flea market is Sunday, August 16th. The information for table rental is in this bulletin. This event brings the whole parish together and also includes some of our neighbors. You may recall that there are always good food options besides the other goods that are for sale. Pray for good weather!
St. Wenceslaus day Mass will be at St. John Nepomucene, with the dinner again at Bohemian National Hall. We need help with the organization, mailing, set up, etc. Contact Betty Bican if you are able to help in some way with this event. We want to continue this tradition but sincerely more help is needed!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:
El próximo domingo tendremos la dicha de ser testigos a las promesas nupciales que hacen Jerson Rodríguez y Pamela Guerra. Optaron por la misa dominical porque quieren compartir esa alegría con toda la comunidad. Les deseamos lo mejor en su matrimonio que empieza con la Misa hoy. Admiro y aprecio mucho a estos dos jóvenes que hace poco se integraron en nuestra parroquia y han hecho muchas amistades, gozan de la confianza de mucha gente, y están sirviendo en varios ministerios tanto aquí en la parroquia como en la diócesis.
!Siempre estamos anotando a parejas para recibir las platicas prematrimoniales!
