MASS / MISA LABOUR DAY MONDAY, 7 SEPT. 9:00 AM DIA DEL TRABAJADOR
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has been awarded a $175,000 grant from the National Fund for Historic Places. It is a matching grant. This means we have the challenge of raising $175,000 for this urgent project that will fund masonry repair and restoration of the church building. Dear Parishioners and friends,
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Altar & Rosary Society’s basket raffle: Christine Redilla and Linda Grizez!
We will have Mass here on Labour Day—Monday, 7 September at 9:00 AM.
St. Wenceslaus day celebration is fast approaching. If you have not made your dinner reservations, please call St. John Nepomucene parish office at 216.641.8444. Mass will be at St. John Nepomucene followed by the meal at Bohemian National Hall Saturday 26 September.
And of course Saturday, October 16th is our 18th annual International Festival and money raffle. Raffle tickets are now available after Mass and at the parish office. Please let Bety Bican know if you will bring prepared food representing your ethnic background. PSR/CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION: Register your children and youth for the Parish School of Religion (PSR), First Communion, First Communion, continuing classes after First Communion and Confirmation classes after the Sunday Masses at the table near the statue of
St. Procop. PSR classes begin with a parent meeting at 10:00 a.m. in church on Saturday, September 12. The children’s classes begin on Saturday, September 26 from 10:00–11:30 a.m. in the parish house.
CLASES DE LA DOCTRINA Y CONFIRMACIÓN: Regístrense a los niños y a los jóvenes para las Clases de la Doctrina, Primera Comunión, Clases de Seguimiento después de Primera Comunión, y Confirmación después de las misas dominicales a la mesa cerca de la estatua de San Procopio. Las clases de la doctrina comienzan con una reunión de padres a las 10:00 a.m. en el templo el sábado, 12 de septiembre. Las clases con los niños van a comenzar el sábado, 26 de septiembre de 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
SHARE YOUR FAITH! Invite your family members or friends who were not able to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and/or Confirmation to register for the OCIA or Adult Sacramental Preparation. Classes will be held on Sundays beginning in October. Stop by the table by the St. Procop statue to complete a registration form after the Sunday Masses or in the parish office.

Invitan a sus parientes o amigos(as) quienes no han recibido los Sacramentos del Bautismo, Primera Comunión y/o Confirmación como niños para registrarse para el OICA o Preparación Sacramental de Adultos.
